Strain Description:

Purple Satellite is a meticulously bred sativa, a cross of two Inbred lines: Oaxacan Gold kept since 1979 and a high-altitude pure Nepalese sativa. The inclusion of Oaxacan Gold significantly enhances potency. This strain stands out as one of the earliest sativas of its quality accessible to northern growers, boasting resistance against cold, fungus, and rains. It completes its flowering cycle before many others, ensuring optimal trichome production under the strong, high sun.

Plants exhibit remarkable consistency, often resembling clones. Pink to fuchsia pistils and purple calyxes are nearly universal, even without a chill period. The mid-to-late bloom emanates a powerful cherry scent, evolving into a more complex fragrance of pine, incense, and a touch of berry, which carries into the exceptionally smooth smoke.

Growing Information:

Especially recommended for outdoor cultivation in cold and wet northern climates, Purple Satellite thrives when started from seed as early as April. Pinching and keeping potted, preferably in 30-liter pots, contribute to successful growth. Alternatively, it can be planted directly into the soil.

Flowering begins in July at the 42nd north latitude, with almost 15 hours of light, concluding in September. Moderate nutrient levels during the growing stage and heavy organic feeding during flowering are recommended for optimal results.

Strain Profile:

The terpene profile of Purple Satellite has not yet been analyzed.

Strain Summary:

Purple Satellite, a potent and early-blooming sativa, combines the legacy of Oaxacan Gold and Nepalese Sativa. With a smooth and delightful taste, this strain delivers a very potent and fast-onset high, fostering motivation, sociability, and a joyful, warm comfort without inducing excessive raceiness.
