Strain Description:
Nepal Annapurna, a pure sativa landrace from the slopes of Annapurna at over 2000 meters altitude, presents a classic and authentic wild Nepalese sativa phenotype. Thriving in poor soils with minimal care, it exhibits excellent resistance against mould, rain, wind, cold, and strong temperature contrasts. Delicate and spongy flowers with small floral bracts and long pistils mature in moderate flowering times for a pure sativa (12-14 weeks), acquiring beautiful purple and pink colours at the end of flowering in low temperatures.
Locals hand-rub the flowers from the second half of flowering onwards, producing the famous Nepalese charas—hashish with spicy and incensey aromas, occasionally slightly mentholated and fruity. This charas delivers a clean, refreshing, inspiring, and spiritual effect, elevating the mind to the highest peaks of consciousness. Renowned for the quality of its effects and terpenes, it is considered one of the best and finest hashishes in the cannabis world.
Growing Information:
Nepal Annapurna can be grown indoors with enough space for development. It is recommended to switch to flowering after 15 days from seed or starting from clones rooted for at least 7 days.
Very suitable for SCROG, horizontal, or network growing due to its excellent yield in lateral branches and vigorous reaction to pruning.
Outdoors, it can be grown up to latitude 45º, in hot climates or climates where flowering occurs with rain and low temperatures. Exhibiting excellent resistance against botrytis fungi, rain, wind, cold, and strong thermal contrasts.
Low-moderate levels of nutrients are recommended for the growing stage, with a moderate application of PK at the peak of floral production in mid-flowering.
