What Is Cannabicyclol (CBL)?
Cannabicyclol (CBL) is a lesser-known cannabinoid that is found in cannabis plants. It is formed when the plant’s cannabichromene (CBC) undergoes oxidation, either through exposure to air or heat.
CBL is structurally similar to other cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), and has some potential therapeutic effects. However, because it is found in such low concentrations in cannabis plants, and research on it is limited, it is not as well-known or studied as other cannabinoids such as THC or CBD.
It is important to note that research on CBL is still limited, and more studies are needed to fully understand its effects on the body. Additionally, CBL is not typically found in high concentrations in cannabis plants, so it is not commonly used for medical or recreational purposes.
